GM STC offers Web-based placement assessments for experienced service
technicians. These assessments allow technicians to measure their
skills and the opportunity to pass out of course components. Service
technicians who pass the placement assessment also have to opportunity
to place out of the Hands-on course component by receiving a score
of 80% or greater on a Performance Checklist.
Other important information to know about placement assessments
include:
There are more than 35 to choose from
They are timed.
Users have two attempts to pass each one.
They provide immediate performance feedback and training history
updates.
