General Motors Service Technical College training is a worthwhile tool that not only helps service technicians improve upon their craft but also helps GM provide top-of-the-line service to its customers. Proper training, along with feedback, allows for what GM calls the “Fix it right the first time” attitude -- something customers value and appreciate.

The American Society for Training & Development awarded GM Service Parts and Operations with the Excellence in Practice Award in 1999. The honor helped highlight GM’s Service Technical College (STC) as a comprehensive learning initiative that has been successful for the past six years. Click here for more information on the award.

GM STC has delivered training to over 70,000 service technicians working at GM dealerships across the United States.
